Abstract

This study aims to examine the educational values in children’s theatre and their impact on shaping the awareness of the young audience. Children’s theatre is considered one of the most important educational and cultural tools that contribute to instilling moral, cognitive, and behavioral values in children, as it combines aesthetic and dramatic experiences with both entertainment and education. The research highlights how theatrical texts and interactive performances can be employed to build children’s awareness of social issues and strengthen concepts such as cooperation, honesty, responsibility, and belonging.

The study adopted a descriptive-analytical method by reviewing previous research and analyzing theoretical frameworks that connect education with theatrical art. The theoretical findings indicate that children’s theatre can be an effective educational tool when used thoughtfully, as it stimulates imagination, refines personality, and develops social awareness among young audiences.
